Special Edition MAN XLion Makes First Appearance at Expo

Seri Kembangan, 20 June 2019 - MAN Truck and Bus (M) Sdn Bhd (MAN) today presented a MAN XLION special model at the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) 2019, in line with its motto of ‘Simplifying Business’. The MAN TGS 33.480, 6x4 prime mover, with its XLION lion design on the sides of the cab, makes for an eye-catching exhibit. The X in the name of this powerful truck stands for “extreme”.

Equipped with a D2676 engine that generates 480 hp and a maximum torque of 2300 Nm, the special edition vehicle comes with a double cylinder air compressor and an air dryer with two granulated cartridges, as well as a 4-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a hydraulic cab tilting mechanism and double-reduction rear axles. A self-contained and battery-operated Roof Top Air Conditioner RTX 2000 is also installed to ensure relaxing rest periods.
